The basics
What is Mila Sourcing?
+
Mila Sourcing is procurement infrastructure for businesses worldwide importing from China. We match you with one of 37 verified sourcing agents, draft bilingual NNN contracts, run GPS-verified factory audits, and manage 3-stage AQL quality control — inside a WhatsApp-based platform. Mila Sourcing is the product brand of Mila Sourcing OÜ (registry 17403363, Tallinn, Estonia).
How is Mila Sourcing different from Alibaba or a regular sourcing agent?
+
Alibaba is a marketplace of mostly trading companies, not factories. Regular sourcing agents are paid by the factory — they have an incentive to keep prices high. Mila Sourcing is paid by you, sources directly from verified factories, and is structurally incentivised to find you the lowest ex-factory price. Typical savings: 20–30% vs Alibaba.
How it works
How does the agent matching work?
+
Submit your enquiry on WhatsApp. We assess your product category and target manufacturing region, then match you with one of 37 verified agents specialised in that combination. Match assignment happens within 48 hours. Specialisations include Shenzhen electronics, Yiwu consumer goods, Guangzhou textiles, Ningbo hardware, and Dongguan mechanical.
How does the GPS-verified factory audit work?
+
Your agent visits the factory in person and runs a live video walkthrough inside WhatsApp. The video is GPS-stamped so you can verify the address matches the factory's registered business licence. You see the production line, the raw materials, and the finished goods in real time. The video is archived as audit evidence for your records.
How long does a typical sourcing project take?
+
Sourcing Activation (quotes only): about 10 business days from brief to quotes. Strategy Call: same week. Full Production Management depends on product complexity and tooling — typical electronics or consumer goods run 6–12 weeks from contract signed to container shipped.
Do you handle shipping and customs?
+
Yes. Full Production Management includes freight booking (sea or air), customs documentation, and door-to-door coordination. You receive a single milestone timeline covering production, QC, container loading, and arrival.
What countries do you serve?
+
Mila Sourcing serves importers worldwide. Our primary market is European SMEs (Germany, France, Netherlands, Spain, Italy, Estonia, UK), but we also work with importers in North America and other regions.
Pricing
What does pricing look like?
+
Three options. Sourcing Activation: €425 one-off, you get a matched agent and 3–5 direct factory quotes. Supply Chain Strategy Call: €290, a 90-minute consultation mapping your full China supply chain. Full Production Management: 5–10% of order volume (example: €2,290 fee on a €30,000 order), end-to-end with NNN contracts, GPS audits, 3-stage QC, and logistics.
Are there hidden markups or factory kickbacks?
+
No. Mila Sourcing does not take a commission on the factory invoice and does not accept kickbacks. The factory quotes you directly in euros, ex-factory. You pay the factory. Mila Sourcing charges a separate flat fee for the infrastructure service.
What is the minimum order quantity (MOQ)?
+
MOQ depends entirely on the product category and the factory. Mila Sourcing does not impose its own MOQ. We negotiate MOQs directly with factories on your behalf. Typical first-run MOQs we secure: 50–500 units for consumer goods, 100–1,000 units for electronics, 30–200 units for industrial products.
Can I source very small quantities or samples?
+
Yes. For samples and very small batches, the Strategy Call is usually the right starting point — we'll map a realistic path including whether direct manufacturing or a small-batch trading route makes more sense for your volume.
Quality & legal protection
What is a bilingual NNN contract and why does it matter?
+
An NNN agreement covers Non-Disclosure, Non-Use, and Non-Circumvention. Unlike a Western NDA, NNN is enforceable in Chinese courts because it is drafted in Chinese under Chinese law. Mila Sourcing's NNN contracts are bilingual (English and Mandarin), drafted by local Chinese counsel, and signed before any tooling or production deposits release. This is the only contract structure that actually protects IP in China.
What does a 3-stage AQL quality control program look like?
+
Three inspection stages: (1) Pre-production — materials, tooling, and a signed-off golden sample. (2) In-production — mid-run inspection while goods are on the line, so errors are caught while they can still be fixed. (3) Pre-shipment — AQL sampling on finished goods before the container loads. All three stages are documented with photos and video shared inside WhatsApp.
What if the factory ships something that doesn't match the agreed spec?
+
Under Full Production Management, this is exactly what the bilingual NNN contract and 3-stage AQL inspection are designed to prevent. If a defect is found at pre-shipment QC, the container does not load until corrective action is agreed. If a non-conformance is somehow missed and a dispute arises, the NNN contract is enforceable in Chinese courts.
How is my data and IP protected?
+
Your specs and designs are covered by the bilingual NNN contract with every factory you engage. Communications on WhatsApp are end-to-end encrypted. Mila Sourcing does not share client specs across projects. For sensitive designs we can also file local Chinese design IP before factory outreach begins.
